SUSTAINABILITY
We're a sustainable fashion brand that believes in making small changes for a brighter future! We’re dedicated to creating a positive impact both environmentally and socially through every move we make. We strive for sustainability in every aspect of our business, from the smallest steps to the biggest ones, we believe in being the change we want to see.
Our bags are made from deadstock, recycled, vegan, or small batch locally sourced materials. We try our best not to harm the environment by producing new materials. We try to create a longer life for unwanted fabrics, by turning them into treasures.
We care about every small detail, which is why even our packaging is biodegradable and recyclable and our tissue paper is printed with soy ink. Our tags and stickers are responsibly sourced and made from agricultural waste in the Netherlands. We care for our environment and know you do too. 💚

Production of our first capsule collection was done in Amsterdam, in partnership with Makers Unite, a textile-based creative agency with a big social mission. Together with newcomers with refugee background they produce sustainable products and merchandise in collaboration with companies who would like to increase their social and environmental impact. Their mission is to support newcomers with access to the job market through collaborative design and the co-creation of sustainable products, in the process shifting narratives around migration globally.
Makers Unite is an organisation whose values sit perfectly with our philosophy of creating a positive impact both socially and environmentally with Weven Design. We are driven by our dream of a better, fairer world, making conscious, more sustainable choices. We created our first capsule collection with Makers Unite completely locally, from our zero waste designs, to production, to second hand and recycled fabrics, right down to sustainable packaging.
You can check out Makers Unite on Instagram and Facebook to see the amazing work they do.
Production of our blazers was previously done in partnership with a local seamstress, a newcomer in the Netherlands. She created each blazer with so much love and care, as requested in true made to order style.
UPDATE: All our products are now Made to Order and we’ve now moved our production to Brazil! Everything is done in the exact same way, supporting a new community and working closely with an award winning local artisan 💓
