🌸 We’re on a mission 🌸

Weven Design was born during lockdown, a time when we realised a lot of things in the fashion industry weren’t sitting well with us. We started talking every day and dreamt up ideas of starting a fun, fair, ethical fashion brand. A brand that could empower women, benefit communities and treat the planet with the respect and care it deserves. We’re ready for this, we’re sure you are too. We’re over fast fashion, Weven Design is for planet caring babes. 🌎 🌱

Our love of using bright colours, patterns, textures, knots and ruffles have inspired Weven’s curious concepts. Our products are a ton of fun and made to last! Our collections always focus on being as sustainable as possible and reducing our fashion footprint. We look locally when it comes to sourcing and production. All of our products are made using deadstock, recycled or vegan fabrics.

Production of our bags in the Netherlands was done in partnership with Makers Unite, who you can read more about on our Sustainability page. Now all our production is handled by talented independent female artisans in Brazil. Every order from our website will be Made to Order by them, allowing us to support the local community. We are 100% cruelty free and know exactly Who Made Your Clothes. 😊
Simply, our Weven values are exactly the same, operating now on the other side of the world! We will produce mostly the same products, of course with variations depending on the material that can be sourced locally. Our customers can shop the website in the exact same way as before, but moving the production there will give us room to lower our prices, which is plus to our customers! And of course, everything will be handmade at the highest standards in our atelier ✨
